Aca and Jazz at Lulu's, featuring Crimson & Slate, and Metallics Jazz Choir

Crimson & Slate is the premier contemporary A Cappella group from Cheyenne Mountain High School. The group of ten was created by director Dawn Wisdom in 2017 as a combination of the all-female Crimson A Cappella and the all-male Slate Vocal Band. The group has appeared in the NACC National HS A Cappella Showcase, AEA National HS Championship, ICHSA National Finals, NCHSA National Finals many times. Crimson & Slate have opened for several professional a cappella groups, and performed in venues across the country. Group members are Lulu Benning, Alaina Caplan, Riece Cardin, Lena Dill, Nicko Gillen, David Laybourne, Jazz Pi, Javanni Resto, Carter Searcy and Faith Sheeks.

Metallics Jazz Choir is the treble jazz ensemble from Cheyenne Mountain HS, directed by Dawn Wisdom. The group competes in state and regional festivals annualy, and performs community and school concerts. They have received consistent superior ratings at state events, and have placed in the top 5 many times. Metallics performs a variety of jazz music styles. They are accompanied by Mrs. Kim Gustafson. Group members are GiGi Bolton, Olivia Brown, Courtney Cassidy, Kiera Cinderella, Sky Crozier, Gabby Duemler, Bri Froese, Leia Garcia Chandler, Lennie Gustafson, RJ Huebner, Charlize LeClaire, Mary Miles, Emily Poe, Azara Soong, Giana Spillane, Amelia Swan.
